On Trump’s Deportation Threats and Betar USA

On Wednesday, January 29th, Donald Trump announced a new executive order promising to deport anti-zionist students on visas. This comes after a year and a half of brutal repression from the Biden administration in their failed attempts to quell the Student Intifada. This order shows us in the anti-zionist movement that our efforts have posed a real threat to the amerikkkan ruling class. Still, we are concerned about the implications of this order and how it may affect our immigrant comrades and our comrades on student visas.

Furthermore, a zionist Jewish organization, Betar USA, has started a targeted harassment campaign against anti-zionist students and has started carrying out attacks against students on their “deportation lists.” They have approached students and handed out “beepers” in reference to the cruel and cowardly pager attacks on the Lebanese people by the zionist army last year.

Jews Against White Supremacy decries Betar USA for creating lists of vulnerable targets—an act of persecution reminiscent of the crimes of the Nazi regime. This, a week after the commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day. Our heroes of resistance, the Jewish partisans, would be ashamed. We also condemn the Trump administration for furthering the repression of our immigrant communities who, despite being vulnerable to the state, have shown immense courage in standing for justice and liberation from Turtle Island to Palestine.

Long Live the Student Intifada!
