JAWS statement on One Year Since Operation al-Aqsa Flood

Today marks the one year anniversary of Operation al-Aqsa Flood. On this day a year ago, and every day since, the Palestinian Resistance and their allies in Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and the rest of the Axis of Resistance, have demonstrated unyielding courage and resilience in the face of Zionist settler-colonialism and imperialist aggression. Our admiration goes out to the Palestinian Resistance and the Axis of Resistance, and we remember those that have been martyred in the last year.

Today also marks one full year of Zionist genocide of Palestinians with the full approval of the so-called US and the backing of other states in the Global North, most notably the UK, Germany, and France. While the Zionist occupation has been genocidal in nature for all 76 years of its existence, the last year of genocide has been some of the most violent and murderous the liberal fascist Zionist entity has ever been.

The Zionist entity has also expanded its genocidal ambitions from Gaza to Lebanon, the so-called US and UK have engaged in bombings of civilians in Yemen, and the so-called US and the Zionist entity plan to engage in a bombing of Iran in the upcoming days. There are no words that can adequately describe the condemnation all nations responsible for this genocide deserve.

On a more hopeful note, the Zionist entity has been acting increasingly desperate and is becoming increasingly unstable internally. It has consistently failed to strike meaningful blows against the Palestinian Resistance or the Axis of Resistance, while suffering severe losses itself. The end of Zionist settler-colonialism approaches. We will see a free Palestine within our lifetimes.
